I don't know alot about these girls individual stories, but I know that everyone of them come from situations preventing them from going home. They have been rescued from serving as domestic slaves, or maybe even approaching the entertainment industry.

They have parents incapable of providing for them, and unable to give them education and childhood, rights by all means. Parents should be able To provide a worthy life for their children, something these girls parents have been unable to. So now they live here, in a big surrogate family that have the means to both love and provide for them. On the walls of this rooms are pictures of friends, their family here, but also their old families. They point them out, showing who they are. Like any normal person they miss their family, meeting them only a few times a year. But they know that this is better for them. This way, they will get a job kmr the future, and be able to give their own kids the chance ao attend school instead off working. A new cycle can begin.

What is worse about these children's past, is that not only have they not been able to attend school, but they have actually been sold. Working almost around the clock as domestic slaves., giving all they are To someone who hardly deserves it. And they have been put their by their own families, sold like any goods. The reasons are there, providing the family with some money and perhaps enabling a sibling the chance to attend school, or give the family food for the day. And there is that small hope that perhaps the girl will come to a good family. But that never happens. So being saved from their life as domestic slaves means the world.

The girl sitting infront of me was once a domestic slave. This beautiful, funny and lovely little girl was once sold by her parents, just like her sisters. Left. Maybe this gave their brother the chance to attend school, hut that doesn't change the fact that these three girls have been sold. They have the right to good life and someone capable to accept and love them as they are.

I don't know what's worst, being an actual orphans who lost all parents to end up alone in the world. Or have them alive, hut knowing that if you returned, they would sell you again. To lost, or to know they would not have you. Honestly, I don't know.

Sometimes I see these girls staring out in to empty space, their focus far far away, the girl in front of me doing just that. There is a certain sadness in those eyes, a thought of the home that once was perhaps. But after a while they smile again, and return to their homework - saying goodbye to the past and embracing the future. This is home now, and it is a good one. Eventhough her old parents aren't here, she have hundred sibling who love and care for her, full of friendship and hope.

And that is what matters the most.
